FabFilter Saturn 2 is a distortion/saturation plug-in renowned for its high quality and vast selection of distortion models, ranging from subtle nuances to intense vintage amp simulations. It boasts multiple frequency bands, an incredibly flexible modulation system, and a sleek, modern user interface.
The Saturn 2 application processes microphone input in real-time. To utilize Saturn 2 as a plug-in, it requires an AUv3-compatible host application such as Auria, AUM, or Cubasis. Once installed, Saturn 2 seamlessly integrates into the Audio Unit extensions list for effect plug-ins within the host application.
